Meet Andile — founder of Lulu's Yarns & Stitches, a passionate crochet artist originally from Bronkhorstspruit and now based in Pretoria, Gauteng.
Andile is not just a business owner. She is a student working towards a Bachelor's degree in Education majoring in isiZulu and Business Studies — building her future in the classroom and in the business world at the same time. Her story is proof that you do not have to choose between your dreams.
How It Started
Lulu's Yarns & Stitches was not born in a boardroom. It was born from love.
What started as a personal hobby quickly grew into something bigger when family, friends and customers began requesting custom pieces. Seeing the joy her creations brought to others gave Andile the push she needed to turn her passion into a business.
